The LDOM Playbook

3 moves to close strong + Launch Q2 hot

1. The Win Back Blitz

LDOM is the perfect time to revive quiet opps, almost deals and ghosts.
Why? Decision makers are clearing their inboxes and making last minute calls

Reps

  • Hit every deal that said “follow up in March”

  • Send a quick “checking in” note? Nope. Send a message like
    “If you’re still looking at [pain] I’ve got an idea that could help this week. Should I send it?”

  • Drop a Sendspark video recap if it’s someone who ghosted

Leaders

  • Block 2 hours today for “deal save” blitzing

  • Pair up with reps to rewrite 2-3 follow ups on the spot

  • Sit in on any last minute calls. Don’t just “support”—drive

2. Set the Q2 Signal

Monday is not just the end. It's the setup

Reps

  • Book 2 meetings today that are pure Q2 pipeline

  • Look for

    • No shows from earlier this month

    • Prospects who engaged but didn’t convert

    • Warm leads who weren’t ready yet

  • Use a CTA like
    “Figured I’d get ahead of Q2 does it make sense to reconnect next week?”

  • End-of-day huddle with your team
    “Who did we close today? And who did we line up for next week?”

  • Share a clear Q2 intention with the team before EOD

    • Focus? New motion? New vertical? Set the tone early

3. Lock the Calendar. Remove the Drag

A big reason Q2 starts slow? Loose calendars
No clarity = no momentum

Reps

  • Spend 30 mins blocking time today

    • Power hours

    • Prospecting blocks

    • Time for learning/research

  • Your calendar is your execution engine. Treat it like a pipeline

  • Review every rep’s calendar before EOD

  • Remove drag

    • Too many internal meetings? Kill em

    • No call blocks? Add em
