Run this 20-minute exercise with your team:
Step 1: List 10 outbound opps they’re currently chasing
Step 2: Score each using this simple rubric:
Urgency: Are they solving this problem now? (1–3)
Access: Can you reach the real decision maker? (1–3)
Alignment: Do they fit the problem you solve best? (1–3)
Step 3: Rank by total score.
Anything under 6? Deprioritize or drop.
Anything 8+? Double down this week.
It’s not about doing more dials.
It’s about chasing the right ones, harder.
Reset #3: Refresh the Why
When your team starts sounding robotic, it’s not a script problem — it’s a belief problem.
This week, ask each rep:
“What’s the biggest problem we actually solve? Who’s the last customer that reminded you we’re making a real impact?”
Let them write it out.
Then challenge them to bring that energy into the next 10 calls.
It’s not about more polish.
It’s about more conviction.
