The GTM Launchpad is where we open the hood on B2B revenue - fixing structure, sharpening outbound and building pipeline that actually holds up

From the Garage

Last week we talked about bad targeting

4,700 dials
600+ conversations
→ 19 meetings

Clear problem:

👉 wrong WHO

But here’s what’s been hitting me all week…

What happens when you fix that…

…and pipeline still doesn’t move?

Because I’m seeing that right now

Across multiple teams

They’re booking meetings

They’re having solid conversations

…and deals are still stalling

That’s a different leak

Pipeline Leak — The Drop-Off After the Call

You get the meeting

You run a clean demo

Buyer says:

“this looks great”

Then they go back to the product…

…and everything slows down

No urgency
No follow-up
No internal push

and the team’s sitting there like:

“what changed?”

Nothing changed

They just didn’t get it

Not fast enough
Not clearly enough

So momentum dies

The Mechanic Fix

Outbound = WHO → WHAT → WHEN

Product experience?

It’s basically:

👉 Can they find it
👉 Can they understand it
👉 Can they use it immediately

Miss one of those…

…and you lose speed

and speed is everything in pipeline

This is what I’m seeing in the wild right now:

  • FusionAuth sessions

  • Founder-led builds

  • Live teardown calls

Same story:

Good product
Decent pipeline

…but friction after the call

and friction = hesitation
Hesitation = no deal

30-Second Inspection

If I opened your funnel right now, I’d ask:

  1. After your demo… can the buyer explain your value to someone else?

  2. If they log in… is the “aha moment” obvious in under a minute?

  3. Are your best features easy to find… or buried?

If any of those are off…

That’s your leak

Partner Spotlight | Eleken

This is where a lot of teams get it twisted

They think they have a:

  • sales problem

  • messaging problem

  • pipeline problem

But it’s none of those

It’s this:

👉 buyers can’t access the value fast enough

You build something strong
People sign up

…and then they click around trying to figure it out

They get lost
They hesitate
They bounce

Now it shows up as:

  • lower activation

  • weak conversion

  • churn

But the root issue?

Clarity

This is exactly what Eleken focuses on

They plug a dedicated SaaS designer directly into your team

Not a one-off redesign
Not a surface-level refresh

Someone inside your product

Focused on making your value:

👉 obvious
👉 intuitive
👉 fast to experience

Not prettier

Clearer

Because when users get it immediately:

  • features get used

  • activation improves

  • churn drops

Real examples:

  • MyInterview → fixed massive churn issues

  • SEOcrawl → 2x growth post-redesign

  • Zaplify → activation doubled

Same product
Better experience
Different results

If your product is strong…

…but users aren’t getting it fast enough

this is worth looking at

3-day trial. Bring them your hardest design problem.

Under the Hood

Here’s what this actually looks like:

Team runs outbound → books meetings
Demo goes well

…but nothing progresses

We dig in

and it’s not:

  • activity

  • effort

  • scripts

It’s:

👉 too many clicks to value
👉 unclear workflows
👉 buried “aha” moments

Fix that…

and suddenly

Same team
Same product

More deals move

Off the Clock

I turned 37 last week

and one thing that keeps showing up:

Most problems aren’t where people are looking

In sales…

teams push harder

When they should be stepping back and asking:

“where is this actually breaking?”

Because if you fix the right thing

everything else gets easier

In the Wild

Been deep in this with:

  • FusionAuth sessions

  • Founder builds

  • Live pipeline teardowns

Different companies

Same issue

👉 not an effort gap
👉 a clarity gap

One More Thing

If you want to pressure test this fast:

Pick 3 recent lost deals

Rewatch the demo

Then go into your product like a buyer would

Ask yourself:

👉 “would I actually understand this right away?”

That answer will tell you everything

The Question

Where are deals actually breaking for you?

On the call…

or after?

Hit reply - I read every one 👊

Thanks for reading. See you again next week at 8 am MST!

How The SD Lab Helps

If your outbound motion feels busy…

…but fragile

If your CRM looks full…

…but forecasting still feels shaky

If your team works hard…

…but pipeline doesn’t feel predictable

That’s what I fix

I work with founders and sales leaders in B2B (Series A–B, 5–20+ reps) who need structure before scale

Not more activity
Not more tools
Structure

Here’s how we do it:

Revenue Rebuild (45 Days)

This is the core engagement.

A hands-on rebuild of your outbound foundation so pipeline becomes structured, measurable and owned by the team not held together by heroics.

Inside 45 days we:

  • Lock in ICP and segmentation

  • Define deal stages with real exit criteria

  • Install signal-driven targeting

  • Simplify outbound into one focused lane at a time

  • Build systems your team can actually run

Best for:

  • Stalled or inconsistent pipeline

  • Founder-led outbound that needs structure

  • Forecasts built on vibes instead of milestones

Focused Workshops

When you don’t need a full rebuild just a sharp correction

  • Cold call intensives

  • Messaging and email teardown sessions

  • SDR workflow audits

  • Founder-led outbound calibration

Designed for fast clarity and immediate execution lift

Outbound Underground

Our private Slack community for reps and leaders building outbound in the real world.

  • Weekly office hours

  • Templates and teardowns

  • Honest feedback from operators

  • No gurus
